Description
The MACH VS-1 SP is a next-generation "super precision" version of the popular VS-1 turret mill, with MACH's familiar gloss black livery and a polished aluminium head. It delivers the high accuracy, speed and reliability expected from a MACH machine, at outstanding value.
It has hand-scraped, hardened and ground dovetail slideways with Turcite B, a hardened and ground table and T-slots, nickel-coated lead screws, and an EVS Yaskawa spindle inverter that gives absolute control of infinitely variable speeds up to 5,000rpm (3hp).
Its accuracy is second to none for a turret mill: for example, spindle taper run-out of 0.003mm against 0.005mm on standard machines.
